Hands-on, real-world
grape growing

Jim Ragni is a retired Air Force pilot and also served as Chief Pilot at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado. His wife, Cindy, is a Research Professor in Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University. Jim and Cindy fell in love with Oregon on a visit and moved to McMinnville shortly thereafter. Greyhorse Vineyard was named after their grey Arabian, Cashmere. Also in residence is the trained (not) vineyard dog, Dusty, who excels at aimless wandering through the rows with his partner, Miss P, the Barn Cat.
